PVCC Drama Club to Bring The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon to Main Stage Theatre

The PVCC Drama Club will bring the lively comedy “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon" to the Main Stage Theatre, Friday, April 7, and Saturday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. each night. Performances of this family-friendly one-act play will take place in the V. Earl Dickinson Building on the main campus in Charlottesville.

When two narrators attempt to tell all 206 of the Brothers Grimm Fairy tales– including Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, and some lesser-known ones like Faithful Johannes–things get fast and funny. These fractured fairytales keep the original endings intact while mixing things up with a modern twist. Directed by Gaby Felipe and Emily Thomas Clarke, the play is almost entirely student run with 16 in the cast and 5 crew members.

Tickets to “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon” are available for $5. Advance tickets may be purchased online at www.pvcc.edu/performingarts or by calling the PVCC Box Office at 434.961.5376 (major credit cards accepted). The PVCC Cashier’s Office, located in the Main Building, will also have tickets available for purchase during normal business hours. If available, tickets may also be purchased starting two hours prior to the performance at the Box Office, located in the lobby of the Dickinson Building.

For more information, email boxoffice@pvcc.edu or call 434.961.5376. Learn more about the PVCC Fine Arts and Performance season at pvcc.edu/performingarts.
